E5CWS

Autonomous Connected Worker Safety

Traditional PPE protects the worker physically. E5CWS adds intelligence, communications and real-time operational visibility.

Protect the Worker. Connect the Field. Control the Response.

E5CWS is an integrated connected-worker ecosystem developed for industrial, energy, construction and remote operating environments where knowing where workers are, what they are experiencing and when they need assistance can materially improve safety response.

The platform combines connected PPE, communications, field connectivity, autonomous power and a secure command-and-control environment.

E5CWS is currently undergoing field testing and pilot deployment.

Explore the Solution

Connected PPE & Worker Safety

Smart Helmet and Smart Headband configurations for different worker roles and environments.

Field Connectivity & Control

Terrestrial and satellite-enabled connectivity, autonomous field power and a secure control environment.

Smart Helmet

Connected industrial safety equipment combining conventional head protection with intelligent sensing, imaging and communications capabilities.

Depending on deployment configuration, the platform can support worker location, SOS/panic alerts, fall detection, helmet-status monitoring, photo and audio capture, live video, two-way communications and operational telemetry.

Smart Headband

A lighter connected-worker form factor designed to provide communications and monitoring capabilities where the full Smart Helmet configuration is unnecessary or where connected-worker technology needs to complement existing PPE.

Its compact architecture enables the E5CWS platform to be adapted to different worker roles and operating environments.

An Integrated Safety Architecture

The value of E5CWS is not the wearable alone. The system connects personnel, communications infrastructure and operational intelligence into a unified safety environment.

Real-Time Safety Intelligence

E5CWS can integrate location and worker-status information with automated safety alerts, visual information and communications to provide supervisors with a live operational picture.

  • Configured capabilities can include SOS and panic alerts
  • fall detection
  • PPE/helmet status
  • GPS/location
  • battery status
  • photo/audio capture
  • live video
  • two-way communications
  • safety alerts
  • incident records
  • environmental/gas-monitoring integration.

Remote operations should not become invisible operations.

E5CWS can incorporate dedicated communications and field-power infrastructure using terrestrial and satellite-enabled connectivity, supported where appropriate by autonomous renewable power.

The objective is to maintain communication between personnel and the control environment even where conventional infrastructure is limited.

Your Workers. Your Operations. Your Data.

Connected-worker systems generate sensitive operational and personnel data.

E5CWS is designed around controlled data residency, role-based access, secure communications and auditable access to operational information. Deployments can be architected around E5-managed or client-controlled infrastructure according to project requirements.

The control environment can bring worker status, alerts, live communications, incident information and operational analytics into a central interface.

Bring Connected Safety to Your Operations.

E5CWS can be configured around your workforce, operating environment, communications infrastructure and HSE requirements.
